Vickie is a native of the NRV, as she grew up in Giles County. She and her husband Howie, of 26 years, have raised two successful children Luke & Rayna – both are graduates of Radford University. Real estate is ‘in her blood’. Her family has a background in development and property management for over 50 years.

Vickie is an active person who enjoys lake-time with family and entertaining friends. Loves walking her sweet pups, a friendly game of poker and decorating. She is a member of Blue Ridge Church in Christiansburg.

I grew up in Christiansburg, VA and graduated from Bluefield College with a degree in Business Management. I married my high school sweetheart and we loved the New River Valley so much that we decided to place our roots here.

Margaret (Maggie) Hicks

I was born in Pulaski County and grew up on a registered Holstein dairy farm in the county.   After obtaining an Associate of Business degree at NRCC, my work experience took me to the Budget Office for the State Department of Community Colleges in Richmond, various banking positions in loan departments, and office organization and administrative responsibilities for a large local business.

My real estate profession began in 2005 with McCraw Real Estate.  In 2007, I transferred to Long & Foster for the next thirteen years.   2021 has found me making my new Real Estate home with Welcome Home Real Estate!!!

I enjoy an occasional round of golf, reading, hiking, cabin-time at the lake and (a newly found activity since the pandemic) working puzzles!!  My family is so very important to me and when schedules allow, my husband and I enjoy visits from and visiting our daughter who lives in Lynchburg.  I also enjoy being a member of the First Baptist Church in Radford.

I am so very excited to be working with the professionals and leadership that comprise Welcome Home Real Estate!!  Over the 15 going on 16 years that I have been in real estate, my passion has only grown for this profession and for the wonderful people I have had the privilege to help obtain their dreams through new homeownership, transfers and investments!!
